Zortrax Curing Station — Technical data
The Zortrax Curing Station is the post-curing unit for the Inkspire 2 and completes the resin workflow after washing. In a closed 300 × 200 × 300 mm chamber, UV LEDs at 405 nm and 75 mW/cm² expose the parts while a turntable moves them evenly through the light. Only this post-curing gives many resins their full strength, temperature resistance and, for dental resins, the properties intended by the manufacturer. The unit runs on 100 to 240 V and draws at most 240 W.
With a used Curing Station, the UV LEDs and turntable are the key checkpoints. Whether all LEDs light evenly can be seen through the window or with a simple UV indicator; failed segments lead to unevenly cured parts. Check the turntable for smooth running and resin residue, as well as the door sensor, which should switch off the UV source when opened. Reflective interior surfaces should be clean and undamaged. Operating hours usually cannot be read out, so ask about service life and frequency of use.
