Zortrax Cleaning Station — Technical data

The Zortrax Cleaning Station is the washing station for resin prints from the Inkspire 2 and other LCD or SLA printers. Parts are immersed together with platform or basket in an 18-litre tank, a rotor with adjustable speed moves the cleaning fluid, and after about five minutes uncured resin is removed. The working area measures 300 × 210 × 270 mm and therefore takes even the largest Inkspire 2 build platform. At 48 W the device is economical, but when filled it weighs around 80 kg.

A used station should be handed over empty and clean, as spent fluid saturated with resin is hazardous waste and is not part of the sale. Check the tank for cracks and resin deposits, the rotor for smooth running and the seals at the drain. Find out which cleaning fluid was last used, as seals can react to certain solvents. Because of the weight when filled, plan a fixed location close to the printer. Ask the manufacturer for spare parts and accessories such as baskets.
