ZEISS GOM Scan 1 — Technical data

The GOM Scan 1 is a compact structured light scanner that GOM presented in April 2021 as an entry point below the ATOS range. It works with blue LED light and two cameras, delivers 6 million points per scan and weighs about 2.5 kg. Unlike the ATOS sensors, the measuring field is fixed: there are three versions with 100 × 65 mm, 200 × 125 mm and 400 × 250 mm fields, point spacing of 0.037 to 0.129 mm and working distances of 400 to 500 mm. It connects to a Windows computer via USB 3. GOM Inspect software, now ZEISS INSPECT, was included.

The version (100, 200 or 400) defines the range of use; the rating plate should match the offer. Calibration object, USB cable and power supply belong with it, while accessories such as tripod or turntable vary by package. Clarify beforehand with ZEISS or the dealer whether the ZEISS INSPECT licence, including update entitlement, passes to the buyer. A test scan of a known part quickly shows the calibration status. Check the protective glass of cameras and projector for scratches.
