ZEISS ATOS III Triple Scan — Technical data

The ATOS III Triple Scan is a GOM structured light sensor listed in the late-2010 data sheet alongside the smaller ATOS II Triple Scan. Two cameras with 8 megapixels each capture up to 8 million points per scan, and narrow-band blue light is projected. Using lenses and camera spacing, the measuring field can be set from about 38 mm to 2,000 mm, with point spacing between 0.01 and 0.61 mm. One user states working distances of 490 to 2,000 mm. It was operated with ATOS Professional. Later versions were sold as ATOS Triple Scan 12M and 16M.

Today an ATOS III Triple Scan is an older system whose value depends heavily on completeness and software status. Check which measuring volumes are present with lenses, undamaged calibration objects and camera mounts. The original computer should be included and run during the demonstration. Licence and dongle for ATOS Professional or GOM Inspect are crucial, as is the question of which ZEISS INSPECT version still supports the sensor. Ask ZEISS about spare parts and service beforehand.
