ZEISS ATOS Core — Technical data
From June 2013 the ATOS Core was the compact entry sensor of GOM's ATOS range. It works with blue fringe light and two cameras. The measuring field width is part of the type designation: ATOS Core 45, 80, 135 and 200 with measuring fields from 45 × 30 mm to 200 × 150 mm and a weight of 2.1 kg, plus the larger Core 185, 300 and 500 with up to 500 × 380 mm at 2.9 kg. Point spacing ranges from 0.02 to 0.19 mm. It is no longer in the current ZEISS range; the same class is now covered by the ATOS Q.
On the Core the measuring field is part of the type name, so first compare the rating plate with the offer; ask ZEISS whether a sensor can be converted. The calibration plate must belong to the measuring field and be undamaged. Many units ran older versions of ATOS Professional or GOM Inspect; which version the licence covers and whether ZEISS offers an update decides how useful the system is. Dongle, sensor controller and power supply must be present. For early units, ask about spare parts and calibration service.
