Voxeljet VX1000 HSS — Technical data
The VX1000 HSS uses the VX1000 platform for High Speed Sintering, a powder bed process for plastic parts. A printhead applies an oil-based, radiation-absorbing ink to the PA12 powder, after which infrared heat fuses the printed areas – without a laser. The job box measures 1,000 × 550 × 400 mm, layer thickness is 0.1 mm and accuracy ±0.3 %. The machine is designed for multi-shift series production of functional parts as an alternative to injection moulding, with a modular automation concept and sensors for traceability. It was developed by voxeljet and is now sold by ExOne.
As the VX1000 HSS is a young and not widely installed machine, used offers are rare and manufacturer support is particularly important. Check the printhead and ink supply, heaters, temperature control in the build area and powder refresh, since HSS parts react to thermal deviations with warpage. Record in writing which process parameters and software licences transfer. Ask the manufacturer for dimensions and connection data.
