UltiMaker S7 — Technical data
The S7 was launched in 2023 as a development of the S5 and was overtaken by the S8 in 2025, but is still offered. It keeps the 330 × 240 × 300 mm build volume and the Bowden dual system with swappable print cores, but adds a flexible PEI steel plate with magnet and pin mounting, inductive levelling with tilt compensation and a built-in Air Manager with EPA filter. The nozzle reaches 280 °C, and composites run with the CC core. Together with the Material Station it was sold as the Pro Bundle.
Used, the S7 is attractive because much of the ecosystem is shared with the S5 and S8. Check the PEI coating for scratches and peeling, as the plate is a wear part. The display shows the runtime of the EPA filter. Test the print cores individually, especially for clogged nozzles and worn CC tips after fibre-filled filaments. The previous owner must remove the device from the Digital Factory, and the firmware should be up to date before handover.
