UltiMaker S6 Secure — Technical data

The S6 Secure is the isolated variant of the S6 and is aimed at defence, authorities and companies whose networks do not allow cloud devices. The 330 × 240 × 300 mm build volume, dual extrusion with high-flow cores up to 340 °C, PEI plate up to 120 °C and Cheetah control match the civilian model. It connects only via wired LAN or optional USB, the firmware is flashed at the factory, and the hardware is sealed against opening. For defence use UltiMaker mentions flame-retardant third-party filaments.

A used S6 Secure is rare, and if one appears it usually comes from decommissioning. Before buying, get written confirmation that internal memory has been erased, the unit was released and no export restriction applies. Since the seals are part of the security concept, check that they are intact if the printer is to run in a protected environment again. Otherwise the usual points apply: print hours, condition of the AA+ core and plate, and completeness of spool holder and Bowden tubes.
