UltiMaker Factor 4 Plus — Technical data

The Factor 4 Plus is UltiMaker's industrial printer and replaces the Factor 4, whose product page already redirects to it. Two direct-drive extruders with swappable print cores work in a 330 × 240 × 300 mm build volume. The chamber is actively controlled up to 70 °C, the PEI-coated steel plate reaches 120 °C, and the CC+ core allows 340 °C at the nozzle, for example for carbon-fibre-reinforced PPS. Six spools are kept in an integrated dry cabinet, an H13 filter cleans the exhaust air, and the TRACE function logs temperatures and extrusion for every job.

As the model is new, used units usually come from leases or closed projects. The seller should remove the printer from their Digital Factory and state firmware version and print hours. Check the supplied print cores, the HEPA filter with its replacement interval of about 1,500 hours and the humidity control of the spool cabinet. At 120 kg, transport needs a pallet and pallet truck; during a test print, check chamber heating, door sensor and emergency stop.
