UltiMaker 2+ Connect — Technical data

The Ultimaker 2+ Connect is the networked revision of the Ultimaker 2+ and brought the proven single extruder into the manufacturer's cloud environment. Mechanically it keeps the Bowden print head with swappable nozzles from 0.25 to 0.8 mm and a 223 × 220 × 205 mm build volume. New are a colour touchscreen, Wi-Fi and Ethernet for the Digital Factory, assisted levelling and an optional add-on Air Manager. The nozzle reaches 260 °C and the glass plate 110 °C, covering PLA, PETG, ABS and similar plastics.

Used 2+ Connect units often come from schools and labs where they were run in groups. Check nozzles and heater block, Bowden tube and feeder, which wear under continuous use, as well as the print head fans. The printer must be deregistered from the previous owner's Digital Factory. Whether UltiMaker still actively maintains the model is unclear; however, as many parts match the older 2+, spare parts supply via dealers and third parties is good.
