Tumaker BigFoot Pro 500 Dual — Technical data

The BigFoot Pro 500 Dual from Spanish manufacturer Tumaker is an enclosed large-format printer with IDEX kinematics: two independently moving print heads can print two parts at once in duplicate or mirror mode, or combine two materials. A special feature of the range is that the heads process either filament or plastic pellets, with pellet heads using nozzles up to 5 mm for fast, coarse parts. The build volume measures almost 500 × 470 × 500 mm; the bed heats to 100 °C and the chamber to 40 °C. The Pro range was also available with 200 and 350 mm build height.

As the manufacturer no longer lists the Pro range on its website, clarify spare parts supply with Tumaker in advance. The fitted head combination is decisive: filament, pellet or mixed versions determine nozzles, feeding and build volume. On pellet heads check screw, hopper and heating zones for residues; on filament heads check nozzles and drive. Have the alignment of both IDEX heads and mirror mode demonstrated during a test run. At 82 kg the printer is still manageable but needs a sturdy base.
