Trumpf TruPrint 1000 Green Edition — Technical data
The TruPrint 1000 Green Edition combines the compact TruPrint 1000 with the green TruDisk 1020 disk laser at a wavelength of 515 nm. Copper and precious metals absorb green light far better than the usual infrared, so the system is designed for pure copper, copper alloys such as CuCr1Zr and jewellery alloys. Up to 500 W reach the workpiece with a 200 µm spot, the build volume is 97 mm in diameter and 100 mm high, and the build rate is up to 25 cm³/h. The flyer dates from 2021; the laser stands next to the machine as a separate cabinet.
When buying used, the laser must be part of the deal; without the TruDisk 1020 you only have an ordinary TruPrint 1000. Check laser operating hours, the light cable and connectors, as well as protective glass and optics, which are stressed more by copper. The laser needs its own three-phase supply with 32 A. Copper powder is sensitive to oxidation, so ask about powder history, storage and inert gas handling. Check the rating plates of both units for year and generation and clarify whether TruTops Print is licensed with copper parameters and TRUMPF will provide service.
