Trumpf Siebstation mit Vakuumförderer — Technical data
The sieving station with vacuum conveyor prepares used metal powder from TRUMPF TruPrint systems for the next build job. The vacuum conveyor draws powder from containers or the powder silo, an ultrasonically assisted sieve with 63 µm mesh separates spatter and agglomerates, and the powder is then weighed and filled. According to the manufacturer the station handles around 400 kg per hour depending on material, and an additional HEPA filter protects operator and environment. The unit measures about 2.0 × 1.0 m, 2.3 m high, weighs 500 kg and needs 400 V at 16 A plus compressed air at 6 bar.
When buying used, what matters most is which powder was sieved last, as carry-over of titanium, aluminium or copper ruins parts. Agree on complete cleaning or continued use with a single material. Check sieve mesh and ultrasonic transducer, the vacuum conveyor seals, the HEPA filter with change records and the earthing against electrostatic charge. Spare sieves are a sensible part of the package. Clarify whether the station is designed for inert gas and fits your TruPrint; spare parts come via TRUMPF service.
