Trumpf Entpackstation — Technical data
The unpacking station is part of the industrial part and powder management for the TruPrint series. After the build, the exchangeable cylinder is removed from the machine and unpacked in the station, so the printer can already run the next job. Loose powder is removed and returned to the cycle, the parts are separated from the cylinder free of powder, and the station also supplies the cycle with fresh powder. The work area is just under one cubic metre; the station itself measures about 1.1 × 1.0 m, 2.1 m high, and weighs 950 kg. It requires 400 V at 16 A and compressed air at 6 bar.
A used station should match your own machines: check cylinder holder and interfaces for the specific TruPrint model and its year of build. Important points are the tightness of doors and any glove ports, filters and extraction, and the safety equipment for combustible metal dust. Ask which materials were processed, as residues of titanium or aluminium do not mix with other powders. Whether the unit is an inert gas version belongs in the offer. Maintenance records from TRUMPF service are a plus.
