Stratasys V650 Flex — Technical data

With the V650 Flex, introduced in 2019, Stratasys entered large-format stereolithography, before the Neo series. The build volume is 508 × 508 × 584 mm, and the resin vats can be swapped for quick material changes. The architecture is open; Stratasys named four Somos resins as verified (Element, NeXt, PerFORM, WaterShed XC 11122). According to the trade press, the technology came from Stratasys' own service bureau Stratasys Direct and was meant for large prototypes and models. Today the V650 Flex only appears in support; the SLA systems in the catalogue are Neo450s, Neo800 and Neo800+.

Because public data on the V650 Flex is scarce, buyers should request full documentation from the seller: laser data and hours, service reports, condition of vats and recoater. For a discontinued model with a short market life, spare parts are the central issue – ask Stratasys support about laser, optics and control parts before buying. Also clarify the control software and its licence, resin stock and age, and the mains voltage, since support lists 100–132 V.
