Stratasys uPrint SE Plus — Technical data

The uPrint SE Plus is the extended version of the uPrint SE: in the same housing the build volume grows to 203 × 203 × 152 mm, and a second 0.330 mm layer height is added, which Stratasys says prints about 30 % faster. ABSplus is available in nine colours, with soluble support washed out in the WaveWash unit. The printer was aimed at engineering departments, schools and universities wanting to make functional ABS models in-house. Like the SE, the SE Plus is discontinued and only supported as a legacy model.

Buying a used SE Plus involves similar checks to the SE, with an eye on the larger platform: flatness and condition of the build tray, print head hours and heating. Whether one or two material bays are fitted affects run time and value. The source for ABSplus cartridges in the desired colours and for support material is important. If the WaveWash station is missing, budget for a replacement; CatalystEX needs a compatible Windows PC.
