Stratasys FDM Vantage SE — Technical data
The FDM Vantage SE is the largest Vantage; Stratasys explains the name as “speed + envelope”. Its 406 × 355 × 406 mm build volume matches the Titan and is considerably larger than the 355 × 254 × 254 mm of the Vantage i, X and S. According to the user guide, it can take the TI speed option like the S and handles PC-ISO; only the SE also has automatic canister changeover, which switches to the next canister when one runs empty. It prints ABS, polycarbonate and PC-ABS. That makes it the choice for large parts or full build plates, while its smaller siblings are enough for compact parts. The machine is discontinued and listed in legacy support.
With a used SE, look at the features that set it apart from the S: does the automatic canister changeover work reliably, and is the TI option active? Then check the chamber heating and axes over the long travel, the extrusion heads and nozzle tips, and the supply of material and spare parts. An Insight PC and a 230 V supply at 20 A must be sorted out.
