Stratasys F870 — Technical data

The F870 is the new further development of the F770, with the same 1,000 × 610 × 610 mm build volume and a chamber heated to 95 °C. It adds four 4,100 cm³ spools with automatic changeover, integrated drying and three N-series print heads, including the hardened N20H for Nylon 12CF and the N25 for fast ASA printing. Alongside ASA and ABS-M30 this makes Nylon 12CF available, and ABS Draft has been announced; support material is SR-35. It shares its material system with the F3300 and is intended for tooling, fixtures and manufacturing aids.

Used F870 units will be rare for some time. If you find one, check warranty and service status, the heads included (N14, N20H, N25) and the condition of the drying unit. At 817 kg, with a three-phase 208 V supply at 30 A and specified clearances, the machine needs a planned location; according to the data sheet, a forklift and a double door are required to bring it in. Software subscriptions such as GrabCAD Print Pro should be handed over with it.

1 · Buy

Matching used machines for this material and build volume.

2 · Let us search

Nothing suitable? We will search for you – or get an e-mail as soon as a matching machine comes in.

3 · Have parts printed

Not worth your own machine? We produce your parts – request from the LayerByLayer 3D printing service.

Buy or have it printed? For small or changing quantities, having parts printed is often cheaper than your own machine. If you regularly fill many build jobs, your own machine pays off.
