The F270 was the middle model of the F123 series between F170 and F370. It offers a 305 × 254 × 305 mm build volume, four spool bays with automatic changeover between two model and two support spools, and four layer heights from 0.127 to 0.330 mm. It processes common engineering materials such as ABS-M30, ASA, PLA, TPU 92A and carbon-filled ABS-CF10, supported by soluble QSR. Housing and operation match the F370, which has slightly more build volume and material choice. Stratasys now lists the F270 only as a legacy model.

A used F270 offers a closed design and unattended operation thanks to spool changeover. Before buying, check print head condition and hours, the build plate, the spool bays and which materials are enabled – CF material usually needs a matching, more wear-resistant head. QSR support requires a wash station. Also: GrabCAD access, maintenance records and a spare-parts commitment for the discontinued model.
