Solukon SFM-AT800-S — Technical data
The SFM-AT800-S followed the first SFM-AT800 in 2018 and was developed together with Siemens, which supplies controls and drives. It is built for large metal parts from the powder bed and takes parts of 600 × 600 × 600 mm or 800 × 400 × 550 mm up to 300 kg. Two endlessly rotating, programmable axes guide the part along a motion path, while a vibrator with a wide frequency range loosens the powder. Rework can be done by hand through glove ports with compressed air or inert gas. The system weighs 1,100 kg and needs 400 V with 16 A. In October 2026 Solukon announced the SFM-AT850 as its successor.
According to Solukon, its 200th metal system was an SFM-AT800-S. When buying used, check the inerting package, knocker, Digital Factory Tool and a transferable licence for SPR-Pathfinder, which according to the manufacturer can also be installed on early serial numbers. Inspect axis bearings and servo drives for play; gloves and door seals are wear parts. Installation and crane loading need an area of about 3.5 × 2.5 m with three metres of height.
