Solukon SFM-AT350 — Technical data
The SFM-AT350 came out at Formnext 2021 and is Solukon's system for medium-sized metal parts from the powder bed. Compared with the older models it is considerably more compact, which also speeds up inerting. The part is clamped on its build plate and moved about two axes: the rotary table turns endlessly, the horizontal axis swivels through 250 degrees, and a vibrator with a wide frequency range is added. Residual powder can be blown out through sealed glove ports with compressed air or inert gas. Today Solukon states parts up to 400 × 400 × 400 mm and 100 kg; at launch the figure was 60 kg. The system weighs 650 kg.
For a used purchase the key question is which options are fitted: inerting for titanium and aluminium, programmable knocker, Digital Factory Tool and a licence for the SPR-Pathfinder path calculation. Ask the manufacturer whether today's limits for part weight and size also apply to early serial numbers. The gloves in the ports, chamber seals and rotary table are wear parts. Collection container and lock should be handed over clean so that no foreign alloy ends up in the next powder.
