Solukon SFM-AT300 — Technical data
The SFM-AT300 was, together with the SFM-AT800, one of Solukon's two first production systems and was presented at formnext in Frankfurt in 2017. It was intended for smaller metal parts from laser powder bed fusion: the part is clamped on its build plate, rotated around a single axis and vibrated until the residual powder trickles out. According to trade press it held parts up to 300 × 300 × 350 mm and 60 kg. There was a standard version with extraction for metal dust and an ATEX-certified inert gas version for titanium and aluminium. The system no longer appears in the current range.
If you are offered an SFM-AT300, first establish which of the two versions it is, because only the inert gas version is approved for reactive powders. Rating plate, declaration of conformity and operating manual should come with it. As the machine belongs to the first generation, controls and drives are older than on today's models; ask Solukon in advance, quoting the serial number, whether parts are still available. Also check seals, rotary bearing and vibrator, and find out which alloys were last depowdered in it.
