Solukon SFM-AT1500-S — Technical data

Since Formnext 2024 the SFM-AT1500-S has been Solukon's largest depowdering system. It takes metal parts of 600 × 600 × 1,500 mm or 820 × 820 × 1,300 mm weighing up to 2,100 kg including the build plate, intended for large-format laser melting machines. Two endlessly rotating axes move the part, and the vibrator is decoupled from the rest of the machine body. Four separately controllable compressed air lines for vibrators, knockers and blow nozzles run on the rotary table. Loading is by crane from the front and top, without a platform or stairs. The system itself weighs 3,200 kg and needs 3 kW at 400 V.

So far the SFM-AT1500-S rarely appears on the used market, and an offer is usually a project purchase. Check the overhead crane, floor load capacity and the floor area of 5 × 3.75 m with four metres of height stated by the manufacturer. Dismantling, transport and recommissioning should be agreed with Solukon, as axes and decoupling have to be readjusted. Also clarify the inert gas supply, the SPR-Pathfinder licence and whether an SFM-PCU powder station is included in the sale.
