Solukon SFM-AT1000-S — Technical data
The SFM-AT1000-S is Solukon's depowdering system for tall and heavy metal parts such as combustion chambers and rocket engines. It was created in 2020 as the SFM-AT1000 at the request of a manufacturer of large-format laser melting machines and has carried the suffix -S since 2022. Two servo-driven axes rotate endlessly and guide the part along a programmable path, supported by a vibrator with a wide frequency range. Today Solukon states 600 × 600 × 1,000 mm and up to 800 kg, depending on the swivel arm. The system weighs 1,250 kg and needs a floor area of 3.6 × 2.6 m. The SFM-AT850 has been announced as its successor.
When buying used, the year of manufacture matters: early units from 2020 only take parts up to 460 × 460 × 1,000 mm and lack the reinforced swivel arm of 2023. Which arm is fitted and whether front-top loading is available determines the usable formats. Servo drives, axis bearings and knocker deserve a close look, as do the glove ports and inerting. A licence for SPR-Pathfinder and the Digital Factory Tool are not automatically included; clarify transfer with Solukon.
