Sisma MYSINT 100 — Technical data
The MYSINT 100 is the small laser melting system from Italy's Sisma and came onto the market in 2014. It builds in a round chamber 100 mm in diameter and 100 mm high, which interchangeable cylinders reduce to 63.5 or 34 mm diameter so that little gold or silver powder is tied up. Today it uses a 200 W fibre laser, optionally with a second one, and a focus of 55 or 30 µm. Sisma targets jewellery, watches and dental; early units had 150 W. Trumpf's TruPrint 1000 was developed on the same platform.
When buying used, ask about the equipment: one or two lasers, which cylinders, glove box and sieve. Without the glove box, titanium and aluminium are not intended. With precious-metal machines, agree how chamber and residual powder are handed over. Also check laser hours, protective glass, filter and chamber tightness. At 650 to 750 kg on a 230 V supply, installation is simple, but nitrogen or argon must be available. An older 150 W unit does not match today's data sheet.
