Sisma EVEMET 200 — Technical data

Sisma presented the EVEMET 200 at Formnext 2019 as a new laser melting system. The round build chamber measures 200 mm in diameter and 200 mm in height. Two lasers work with fully overlapping fields, pulse management is meant to improve surfaces and reduce residual stress, and the build plate is preheated to up to 200 °C. The system is designed for reactive metals, the powder tank holds two and a half times the largest build job, and residual powder is extracted. For sieving under inert gas there was the external EVEMET MULTIPLO station. Sisma no longer lists it.

Used EVEMET 200 units are rare and dealer details incomplete. Laser power, software version and year of manufacture should therefore be verified on the machine itself. The two filter cartridges are rated for about 1,000 operating hours each; their replacement dates are as revealing as the laser hours of both sources. With titanium or aluminium, safe powder and filter handling also counts. According to third-party data the system weighs around 3.2 tonnes. Since Sisma handed its laser melting business to Trumpf in 2021, agree service, spare parts and updates in writing beforehand.
