Shining 3D OptimScan Q9 HD — Technical data

The OptimScan Q9 HD combines the small fields of the HD range with the 9 MP cameras of the Q9. It measures 80 × 50 mm in the small range and 220 × 150 mm in the large one, with an accuracy given by Shining 3D of 0.004 or 0.01 mm respectively, the same as the Q12 HD. The difference lies in point distance of 0.03 or 0.06 mm, slightly coarser than its bigger sibling. Both share working distances of 200 and 600 mm, blue LED projection, under one second per shot, a 3.6 kg head and identical dimensions of 366 × 162 × 132 mm. The HD models were the latest additions to the Q series.

A point in favour of a used Q9 HD is that it suffices for many small-part inspection tasks and should trade more cheaply than the Q12 HD. Identify the model clearly via rating plate and software. The calibration plates matching the HD ranges must be included. Check tripod, rotary table and data cable, and ask for the calibration certificate. Clarify whether inspection software is included. A computer meeting the manufacturer's specification belongs in the plan.
