Shining 3D FreeScan UE Nova+ — Technical data

The FreeScan UE Nova+ is the revised version of the long-range handheld scanner UE Nova and was launched in autumn 2026 together with the Trak Nova+. The main change is 62 instead of 50 blue laser lines, raising the rate to just over 5.7 million points per second. According to the series page, working range and accuracy figures remain the same: distances from 300 mm to 2.6 m, a field of view of up to 2,600 × 2,200 mm, 0.072 mm accuracy and 0.072 + 0.012 mm/m with video photogrammetry. The scanner weighs 1.6 kg. Data goes to the computer via Wi-Fi or fibre optic.

As a very recent model, the UE Nova+ will rarely appear used at first. If one comes up, ask about remaining warranty and service contract. It can be reliably distinguished from its predecessor by the laser line count in the software. Batteries, charging cradle, router and fibre optic cable must be present. Clarify whether the scanner was calibrated alone or as part of a Trak Nova+ system and ask for the certificate. Have the FreeScan licence transferred to the buyer by the manufacturer.
