Shining 3D EinScan Rigil Lite — Technical data

The EinScan Rigil Lite is the pared-down version of the Rigil and is mainly sold through the EINSTAR online shop. It also uses hybrid light from blue laser lines and an infrared VCSEL, but has only 17 + 17 crossed lines instead of 25 + 25 and so reaches just under 2.94 million points per second in Laser HD mode. Working distances, resolution down to 0.05 mm and the fast IR mode match the larger model. It has an eight-core processor, a 6.4-inch AMOLED display and, depending on version, a 512 GB or 1 TB SSD. With batteries it weighs 870 g. Shining 3D gives no accuracy figure for the Lite.

When buying second-hand, first clarify the configuration: the Regular version has 24 GB RAM and a 512 GB SSD, the Limited version more memory. The two 5,500 mAh batteries age and should be tested, and a 60 W USB PD charger belongs in the box. Inspect the display and USB-C socket for damage. Software and firmware should be updatable, and the seller must release the device account. Ask for the calibration board. For PC mode the manufacturer recommends a computer with RTX 3060 graphics and 64 GB RAM.
