Shining 3D EinScan Pro 2X — Technical data

The EinScan Pro 2X is an LED structured-light scanner from 2018 for handheld and fixed use and the successor of the first EinScan Pro generation. It is designed for finer detail than the Pro 2X Plus offered alongside it: the single-shot field measures 135 × 100 to 225 × 170 mm, working distance is 400 mm and handheld point distance 0.2 to 2 mm. According to the manual it achieves up to 0.05 mm in HD mode, 0.1 mm in Rapid mode at 1.5 million points per second and 0.04 mm per shot when fixed, with 0.3 mm/m volumetric using markers. The unit weighs 1.13 kg with cable. It was replaced by the Pro 2X V2.

Anyone buying an old Pro 2X should first find out which EXScan Pro version it runs reliably on and whether the manufacturer will transfer activation to a new owner. For large objects the Plus is better suited. Inspect cameras and projector for scratches and test the USB cable and power supply. The calibration board and markers must be included. The Industrial Pack adds turntable and tripod; without them fixed mode is of limited use.
