Shining 3D EinScan H — Technical data
The EinScan H was Shining 3D's first hybrid scanner combining white LED light with invisible infrared; the available documentation dates from 2020. According to the quick start guide, standard LED mode achieves up to 0.05 mm accuracy at 0.25 to 3 mm resolution, while infrared mode is meant for faces, hair and bodies at up to 0.6 mm. It captures objects of roughly 300 mm to 4 m at up to 1.2 million points per second. A colour camera records texture, and it connects via USB 3.0 with an additional power supply. Its successor is the EinScan H2 with three VCSEL projectors.
Used EinScan H units are often offered for body scanning, figure making and orthotics. As it is no longer built, check whether EXScan H still runs on current Windows and whether updates are available. The manufacturer must be able to re-register the serial number to the new owner. The power supply and special cable with USB and DC connectors are easily lost and hard to replace. Check the calibration board and markers. The recommended PC had GTX 1080 graphics, 32 GB RAM and a Core i7.
