Shining 3D AccuFab-D1s — Technical data
The AccuFab-D1s was Shining 3D's dental DLP printer before the current generation of F1, CEL and L4D/L4K and is no longer in the range. A full-HD projector with 1,920 × 1,080 pixels exposes 144 × 81 × 160 mm, with layer thicknesses of 50, 75 or 100 µm. The manufacturer states ± 35 µm accuracy and up to 90 mm/h. The unit measures 394 × 406 × 755 mm, weighs 30 kg and connects via USB, Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Compared with its predecessor, the AccuFab-D1, it is above all faster, and the material system is open.
Used, the D1s is a way into dental printing, but age matters: ask about projector hours and brightness, since a weakening light source causes under-curing and dimensional deviations. Tank and film are wear parts, and replacements should still be obtainable. Check the Z axis and platform holder for play and run a calibration with a test part. Clarify with the dealer or Shining 3D how long AccuWare and the firmware will support the D1s. Open resins are possible but must be validated separately for medical devices.
