Shining 3D AccuFab-D1 — Technical data
The AccuFab-D1 came onto the market in 2018 as a DLP printer for dental labs, later followed by the revised D1s. Its full-HD projector exposes 144 × 81 × 180 mm at 75 µm XY resolution; the brochure lists layer thicknesses of 25, 50 and 100 µm and a speed of 40 mm/h. The housing measures 394 × 406 × 755 mm and weighs about 30 kg. Connection is via USB, Ethernet or Wi-Fi, with proprietary software providing automatic Z calibration and support generation. Third-party resins are explicitly intended.
On a machine of this age, projector running time and light output are the decisive questions; replacing the light source can quickly eat up the residual value. Check tank, film and platform for wear, and fans and power supply for function. The original software is unlikely to be maintained much any more, so clarify which version the unit last ran and whether it is supplied. The open material approach is an advantage but requires your own exposure parameters. The first-generation FabCure for post-curing is often sold along with used printers. For patient-related applications the process must be validated by the user.
