Russell Finex AMPro Sieve Station Connect — Technical data
The AMPro Sieve Station Connect is the re-engineered AMPro Sieve Station from Russell Finex, presented in January 2024. A larger touchscreen, Smart Flow feed control with integrated weighing, remote monitoring, data logging and an OPC-UA interface are meant to make powder fully traceable. Sieving still uses Compact Sieve technology. The unit measures 1,015 × 1,850 × 2,100 mm, weighs 600 kg and needs 400 V three-phase power and compressed air at 6 bar. The manufacturer names laser powder bed fusion, electron beam melting and metal binder jetting as applications; printers, a storage tank and depowdering stations connect in modular fashion.
Used units are usually only a few years old. It matters which conveying version is fitted: Russell Finex lists separate values for an exhauster and for venturi conveying, and the latter needs up to 1,700 l/min of compressed air from the site supply. The control should come with access credentials, stored recipes and a configured OPC-UA link; exported batch logs help with quality records. Also clarify whether an inert gas connection and oxygen monitoring are fitted and for which Ex zone the unit is marked. Spare meshes, seals and service come from the manufacturer and its subsidiaries.
