Roboze ARGO 1000 Hypermelt — Technical data

The ARGO 1000 HYPERMELT is the pellet version of the large ARGO 1000 and was presented at Formnext 2023. Instead of filament it processes plastic pellets, which according to Roboze should be considerably cheaper and faster than filament printing for parts over 500 mm. The build volume remains 1,000 × 1,000 × 1,000 mm, and the chamber heats to 180 °C, monitored by twelve sensors. The dual head prints build and water-soluble support material or works in IDEX mode, with output of up to 2 kg per hour. Since late 2024 a high-temperature pellet extruder for PEEK has been available.

Used HYPERMELT systems are rare and mostly ran at service bureaus or material distributors. Floor load and transport are likely to match the ARGO 1000, plus pellet logistics: dryers, conveying equipment and clean material paths should be in place. Check screws and nozzles of the extruders, especially after carbon-fibre-reinforced materials, and the chamber heating. Whether the high-temperature extruder for PEEK is fitted changes the range of use considerably. Licences, material approvals and a service contract should be clarified with Roboze.

1 · Buy

Matching used machines for this material and build volume.

2 · Let us search

Nothing suitable? We will search for you – or get an e-mail as soon as a matching machine comes in.

3 · Have parts printed

Not worth your own machine? We produce your parts – request from the LayerByLayer 3D printing service.

Buy or have it printed? For small or changing quantities, having parts printed is often cheaper than your own machine. If you regularly fill many build jobs, your own machine pays off.
