Renishaw RenAM 500T — Technical data

The RenAM 500T is the three-laser version of the RenAM 500, which Renishaw listed between the 500D and the 500Q in its French data sheet from 2018. Three 500 W ytterbium fibre lasers with 80 µm focus and dynamic focusing up to 500 µm share the 250 × 250 × 350 mm build volume; the build rate is given as up to 150 cm³/h including recoating. The machine weighs about 2,010 kg and needs a three-phase 32 A supply. The variant is missing from newer data sheets; today only one-, two- and four-laser configurations exist.

Since the 500T no longer appears in later documents, buyers should clarify carefully whether the machine really has three lasers and how Renishaw supports it today. Important points are laser hours and the condition of each optical path, the calibration of the lasers to each other, powder circuit and filters, and software version and licences. Whether spare parts for lasers and scanners match those of the 500Q should be confirmed in writing by the manufacturer.
