Realizer SLM 125 — Technical data
Realizer presented the SLM 125 at EuroMold at the end of 2014, and the first systems were delivered in 2015. A 400 W laser works in a 125 × 125 × 200 mm build envelope, with a build rate of 5 to 20 cm³/h according to the manufacturer. A special feature is the integrated powder and sieving unit, which prepares powder without a separate station. The machine is designed for cobalt-chromium, 316L stainless steel and titanium alloys and so mainly for dental, medical and small-part production. Since DMG MORI took over Realizer, it is no longer offered under this name.
With a used SLM 125, look at laser hours, the condition of the integrated sieving unit, recoater and filter, and the documentation of material changes, especially if titanium has been processed. Control system and software should be licensed and transferable. As Realizer now belongs to DMG MORI, clarify in advance whether spare parts and service for this series are still available there. Note when reading listings: the SLM 125 from Nikon SLM Solutions with the same name is a different machine.
