Rapid Shape WASH — Technical data

The WASH is Rapid Shape's current washing unit for freshly printed DLP parts. A pump with two propellers circulates isopropanol or ethanol through a 119 × 160 × 99 mm chamber that takes about six full-arch prints; afterwards the unit dries the parts automatically. Wash parameters are stored for more than 200 resins, and via Wi-Fi or Ethernet the WASH takes over the job directly from the printer. The unit weighs 15 kg and is operated via a 7-inch touchscreen. Dealers also list it as the PRO wash.

Used, the WASH is mainly of interest as a package with a PRO printer, because the link then works directly. Check the pump, propellers and seals, which work with solvent and resin residue, as well as the condition of the container. Stored units should be completely drained and dry. Spent isopropanol with dissolved resin is hazardous waste and should not be part of the delivery. A test on site shows whether the firmware is current and the material list matches your own printer.
