Rapid Shape RS cure XL — Technical data

The RS cure XL is Rapid Shape's large post-curing unit for high-throughput labs. Its chamber measures 470 × 375 × 280 mm and, according to the manufacturer, holds around 36 full-arch prints, the yield of several jobs on a D50+ or D90+. As with the smaller CURE, LEDs expose the parts from all sides in the UV-A and UV-B range, under vacuum or protective gas; a cycle takes about ten minutes. The floor-standing unit measures 650 × 800 × 1,050 mm, weighs around 150 kg and draws up to 1,450 W.

When buying a used RS cure XL, logistics come first: a 150 kg unit needs a pallet truck, a door it fits through and a level floor. After that, what counts is the tightness of the large chamber door, the vacuum pump and even exposure, which a test run with hardness measurements on sample parts will show. Protective gas operation requires a nitrogen supply. Whether the curing profiles cover your own resins and updates arrive via the customer portal should be settled before signing.
