Rapid Shape D90+ — Technical data

The D90+ is the series production machine among Rapid Shape's dental printers. It exposes a build area of 232 × 137 mm at 385 nm, with build height kept deliberately low at 80 mm, because the system is designed for many flat parts such as denture bases, teeth, splints and aligner models. A built-in separation unit detaches parts from the platform and passes them to a collection cabinet or a conveyor for post-processing. The manufacturer quotes ±30 µm in XY and layers from 50 to 150 µm, and the unit weighs 150 kg.

Anyone taking over a used D90+ is usually buying part of a production line. So be clear which output is fitted and whether the cabinet or conveyor is included. The separation mechanism and platform mount are the wear points, as are the vats in continuous use. At 1.86 m tall and over a metre deep, transport needs planning. Projector operating hours and a list of unlocked materials belong in the paperwork; with denture materials, approval depends on the validated workflow.
