Raise3D S200-C — Technical data

The Raise3D S200-C is the sintering furnace of the MetalFuse system and the final step after printing on the Forge1 and debinding in the D200-E. In a 200 × 200 × 200 mm working space spread over up to six trays, the debound parts are sintered under argon or nitrogen at up to 1,450 °C; according to partner documentation a cycle takes around 20 hours. The furnace uses partial pressure and is vacuum-capable. Besides Ultrafuse 316L and 17-4 PH it also handles metal injection moulding (MIM) parts, according to the manufacturer. It requires a 400 V three-phase supply at 45 A and weighs around 800 kg.

Before buying a used S200-C, make sure the power connection, high-purity argon or nitrogen supply and floor load capacity at the site are suitable. Check the condition of heating elements and insulation, tightness of the vacuum system, calibration of the temperature measurement and the number of cycles run. A contact at Raise3D or a reseller for spare parts and maintenance is important.
