Raise3D RMS220 — Technical data
The Raise3D RMS220 is Raise3D's SLS system and sinters plastic powder with a 75 W fibre laser at 1,064 nm wavelength instead of a CO₂ laser. The build volume is 220 × 220 × 350 mm, layer thickness 0.05 to 0.40 mm, and the scanner reaches up to 30,000 mm/s. A built-in nitrogen generator produces the protective atmosphere from compressed air, eliminating nitrogen cylinders. Printing takes place in an exchangeable build unit, so the next job can start while the previous one cools. Approved materials are PA12, PA11, glass-filled PA grades and TPU. The C220-P and B520 stations complete the system for unpacking and blasting.
When buying a used RMS220, laser hours, maintenance records and the condition of recoater, heaters and optics count. Clarify which material licence is unlocked and whether it is transferred. Powder handling requires extraction, dust protection and, depending on the material, an ATEX assessment. The site needs a 16 A connection and compressed air for the nitrogen generator.
