Raise3D Pro2 — Technical data

The Raise3D Pro2 is an enclosed FFF printer with two print heads, the inactive one being lifted electronically. In single extrusion it offers a 305 × 305 × 300 mm build volume, with both nozzles 280 × 305 × 300 mm. The hot end reaches 300 °C and the bed 110 °C; nozzles from 0.2 to 1.0 mm are supported. Typical tasks are functional prototypes, manufacturing aids and small batches in engineering thermoplastics, plus water-soluble PVA as support. The Pro2 replaced the N series and was in turn superseded by the Pro3; it is discontinued.

The Pro2 is common on the used market, partly because many training companies and universities used it. Check the head-lifting mechanism, which causes uneven nozzle heights when worn, as well as the condition of the hot ends and build plate. Wear parts such as Pro2 nozzles and hot ends are still partly stocked by resellers. Operating hours, the firmware version and a test print with both extruders are helpful.
