Raise3D N2 — Technical data

The Raise3D N2 was the mid-size model of the N series: an enclosed FFF printer with a 305 × 305 × 305 mm build volume, heated BuildTak build plate and a 0.4 mm nozzle for 1.75 mm filament. The finest layer height was 0.01 mm and the hot end reached 300 °C, so besides PLA and ABS it could also process PETG, nylon and carbon-fibre-filled filaments. It was available with one nozzle or as the N2 Dual with two. Typical uses were functional prototypes, fixtures and teaching. The model is discontinued; the taller variant was called N2 Plus, and the Pro2 later took over its role.

When buying a used N2, look at the build plate: the glass carrier and BuildTak surface are wear parts. If carbon-fibre-filled filaments were printed, the nozzle is often worn. Also check whether the firmware can still be updated, whether the touchscreen responds reliably and whether spare parts for extruder and heated bed are available from resellers.
