Raise3D Forge1 — Technical data

The Raise3D Forge1 is the printer of the MetalFuse system, with which Raise3D produces metal parts via the FFF process. It processes BASF Forward AM's Ultrafuse 316L and 17-4 PH filaments, i.e. metal powder in a polymer binder, printing green parts in a 300 × 300 × 300 mm build volume. Housing width and the dual head with lifting system match the Pro3 range; the second nozzle lays a ceramic release layer for supports. Only the subsequent catalytic debinding in the D200-E and sintering in the S200-C turn the green part into a dense metal part. The slicer is a dedicated metal version of ideaMaker.

A used Forge1 only makes sense together with access to debinding and a sintering furnace – either as a complete MetalFuse package or through a service provider. Before buying, clarify the licence and version of ideaMaker Metal, nozzle wear from the highly filled filament, storage of opened spools and whether Raise3D or the reseller still supports the system, since the product page is no longer directly reachable.
