Raise3D E2CF — Technical data

The Raise3D E2CF is a variant of the E2 tailored to carbon- and glass-fibre-reinforced filaments. Housing, IDEX system and 330 × 240 × 240 mm build volume match the E2, but it uses the V4P hot end, and the material list is limited to Raise3D Industrial filaments such as PA12 CF, PPA CF and PPA GF with matching support materials. Layer heights range from 0.1 to 0.25 mm, with nozzles of 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 mm. The machine targets stiff, light fixtures, grippers and spare parts that would otherwise be machined. It is current; the newest model in the E series is the E3.

Used E2CF printers should mainly be checked for wear in the material path: fibre-reinforced filaments attack nozzles, drive gears and guides. Ask about replacement intervals for these parts, how filament was stored – moist PA12 CF prints poorly – and whether a dry cabinet is included. Release from the RaiseCloud account is also important.
