Raise3D E2 — Technical data

The Raise3D E2 is an enclosed desktop FFF printer with an IDEX system, meaning two independently moving print heads. It can print two materials in one part or, in duplicate and mirror mode, two parts at once. The build volume is 330 × 240 × 240 mm in single extrusion and 295 × 240 × 240 mm in dual mode; V3P hot end up to 300 °C, bed up to 110 °C. At just over 35 kg and with a 350 W power supply it is more compact than the Pro range and fits on a lab bench. It is used in design, training rooms and small production. Derived models are the E2CF for carbon-fibre materials and the newer E3.

When buying a used E2, test how well the two IDEX heads are calibrated to each other, for example with a mirror print. Also check X-axis belt tension, the condition of the PTFE liners in the hot end after high-temperature prints, and the flexible steel plate. The seller should remove the printer from RaiseCloud and list any spare nozzles and filters included.
