Raise3D DF Wash — Technical data
The DF Wash is the washing station for the DF2 and DF2+ DLP printers. It takes parts up to 200 × 112 × 300 mm, i.e. the printer's complete build volume, and cleans them in a 14-litre tank with isopropanol or TPM. Two flow sources and a motion sequence that Raise3D describes as simulating hand washing are meant to reach cavities and fine structures. Two fans then dry the parts. The washing programme is set automatically via the build platform's RFID chip or entered manually; spent solvent drains into a waste container. The station runs from a normal socket at 96 W.
On a used DF Wash, check tank, seals and pump for leaks and deposits and find out which solvent was used. Leftover IPA or TPM is a hazardous substance and cannot simply be shipped along. Buying it mainly makes sense together with a DF2 or DF2+, as the RFID control is designed for their platforms.
