Raise3D D200-E — Technical data
The Raise3D D200-E is the debinding unit of the MetalFuse system. It removes most of the polymer binder from green parts printed on the Forge1 before they are densified in the S200-C sintering furnace. The process is catalytic: oxalic acid as catalyst decomposes the binder under argon or nitrogen at up to 1.55 mm wall depth per hour. The working space is 200 × 200 × 200 mm and is loaded on up to seven levels via adjustable trays. Exhaust is treated by activated carbon adsorption. The unit is connected single-phase at 20 A with a peak of up to 4.4 kW.
When buying a used D200-E, safety and tightness come first: gas routing, door seals and exhaust treatment must be in perfect order, and the activated carbon filter should be fresh or documented as changed. Oxalic acid is a hazardous substance, so plan operating instructions, risk assessment and storage at the new site. Without a matching sintering furnace and printer the unit is of limited use.
