Prodways ProMaker V6000 — Technical data

The ProMaker V6000 was Prodways' first ceramic printer and was presented at the end of 2014 together with the L models. Unlike the resin printers, it processes highly viscous pastes heavily loaded with ceramic or metal powder, which a moving DLP projector cures layer by layer. According to the 2017 data sheet, a single head with 1,920 × 1,080 pixels and around 32 µm pixel size is used, with layers of 25–150 µm. The build volume is 120 mm wide and 150 mm high, with a length of 150, 350 or 500 mm depending on version. The system measures 1,845 × 1,100 × 1,850 mm, weighs around 800 kg and stands on a granite platform.

Used V6000 units are rare and usually come from research institutes or development departments. First check which build length is fitted and whether paste application, blade and vat are complete and undamaged. The control system runs on Windows 7, which is a security issue in networked environments. It also matters whether suitable ceramic pastes and the debinding and sintering processes are available to the buyer, as the machine is of little use without a furnace chain.
